AISLPC EmuELEC System Upgrade Guide
This guide explains how to upgrade the EmuELEC system on compatible AISLPC handheld consoles using a Windows computer.
Before starting, please make sure your device has enough battery power and use a data cable that supports file transfer. Do not disconnect the device during the upgrade process.

Before You Start
Please prepare the following items:

A Windows computer
-
A USB data cable that supports data transfer

The AISLPC handheld console
-
DriverAssitant_v5.12
-
RKDevTool_Release
-
The correct firmware file for your device
Required Downloads
Before starting the upgrade, please download the required upgrade tools and the correct firmware file for your device.

Download the upgrade tool package, including DriverAssitant_v5.12 and RKDevTool_Release:

Firmware for Your Device
Please download the correct firmware file for your specific AISLPC handheld console model from the AISLPC Download Center:
Go to AISLPC Download Center
Step 1: Download the Required Tool Package
Download the upgrade tool package, including:

DriverAssitant_v5.12
-
RKDevTool_Release
-
The firmware file you want to install
Important: Make sure you select the firmware that matches your exact device model. Installing the wrong firmware may cause the system to fail to boot.

Step 2: Install the Rockchip Driver
Open the DriverAssitant_v5.12 folder.
Double-click DriverInstall.exe to install the required driver.
After the installation is complete, you can close the driver installation window.

Step 3: Open RKDevTool
Open the RKDevTool_Release folder.
Double-click RKDevTool.exe to launch the firmware upgrade tool.

Step 4: Select the Firmware File
In RKDevTool, click the Upgrade Firmware tab.
Click the Firmware button, then select the firmware file you want to install.
Please wait until the firmware is loaded successfully.


Step 5: Connect the Device to the Computer
Use a USB data cable to connect one end to your computer and the other end to the device’s OTG port.
Make sure the cable supports data transfer. Some charging-only cables may not be recognized by the computer.

Step 6: Enter Upgrade Mode
You can use either of the following methods to enter upgrade mode.
Method 1: When the device is powered off, press and hold the Volume Up button, then press and hold the Power button.
Method 2: When the device is powered on, press and hold the Volume Up button, then briefly press the Reset button.
After the device enters upgrade mode, RKDevTool should detect a MaskROM or Loader device.

Step 7: Start the Upgrade
After RKDevTool detects the MaskROM or Loader device, click Upgrade.
The upgrade progress will be displayed on the right side of the software.
Please do not disconnect the cable, turn off the computer, or operate the device during the upgrade process.
When the download is complete, the device will automatically restart and boot into the system interface.

Upgrade Complete
Once the device restarts successfully, the EmuELEC system upgrade is complete.
If the device does not boot normally after the upgrade, please check whether the correct firmware was selected and repeat the upgrade process.
