AISLPC® - RG52 PRO MAX Retro-Handheld-Spielkonsole

Out of all the RK3562 devices out there, this chip feels right at home inside the AISLPC RG52 Mini. This thing is a straight up star in my house, switching personalities like a famous actor (thanks to the ability to swap operating systems), blasting sound and loud startup vibration like a rockstar with attitude (those speakers and the loud haptics 😆), and living up to the “Mini” name by fitting into bags or pockets like certain celebrities (Danny DeVito, Kevin Hart 🤣).

It plays multiple games and emulators effortlessly, and when you plug it into your HDMI TV or display, it turns into a full concert experience like different venues, different vibes, just none of the K Pop ones 😂. I was lucky enough to receive the booger, alien color green, and frankly, It’s comfortable, it’s polished, and it’s easily one of AISLPC’s top tier handhelds. If AISLPC had an NBA starting five, the RG52 Mini is absolutely one of the starters.

As someone who mostly plays arcade, puzzle, and 16-bit style games, the RG52 MINI hits the sweet spot. It is not trying to be a high-end Android handheld, but for classic games it feels fast and convenient.

I took it on a weekend trip and used it in the hotel, airport, and car. The 5,000mAh battery gave me enough time that I was not constantly looking for a charger.

The screen was the first thing I noticed. Text and pixel art look clean, and the 720 x 1280 resolution makes menus easier to read than on smaller retro handhelds.

My kids picked it up quickly and the buttons have a nice familiar layout. I would still recommend helping younger kids with the menus first, because there are a lot of game folders and options.

I had a smaller vertical handheld before this, and the 5.5-inch display is a real upgrade. It is easier on my eyes, especially for games with small UI text.

I've had my RG52 Mini for a few weeks now. I love it! I've had other similar systems but this one blows them away. Not sure where to start start? Great selection of systems and games but where this unit shines is its sturdy design and huge screen. And there are options to expand more to even more games.
And AISLPC are awesome! I had a screen issue with my first model and I sent them a picture of the issue. They're sending me a brand new unit without having to send the old one back. Honestly that level of customer service is literally unheard of these days. Super impressed!

A lot of the games don’t load properly, especially on the more modern consoles/games.

The device itself seems nice enough, what I didn't care for was the pre-loaded titles. It really didn't have very many despite the claims of complete libraries as part of the advertising blitz. I'm sure it can hold quite a few titles if you already had the ROMs to add them. So there is quite a bit of work to do as the consumer once the device arrives.

Easy to download games. Need to find a better SD card since the one that comes with the machine will crash and will make the machine malfunction. Other then that it's an awesome player.

From a busy parent perspective, the RG52 MINI feels easy to hand to my kids after dinner without explaining much. The screen is larger than the tiny retro units we had before, and the built-in library makes it feel ready on day one.

I mainly bought it because I could plug it into a TV when friends come over. The HDMI output worked better than expected for casual couch play, and switching back to handheld mode was painless.

I am new to retro handhelds, so I wanted something that did not require a lot of setup. The RG52 MINI gave me enough systems to explore without feeling like a project.

I usually dislike mini handhelds because my hands cramp. This one is still compact, but the wider shape and dual sticks make it much easier to hold for longer sessions.

I collect handhelds and bought the gray model mostly for the design. The ABS shell feels sturdy, the speakers are clear enough, and the RGB around the sticks gives it a modern touch without ruining the retro feel.

I travel for work and wanted something smaller than a laptop controller setup. The RG52 MINI fits in my bag, charges by USB-C, and gives me a familiar way to relax at night.

Setup was easier than I expected. I charged it, turned it on, and started browsing games. I did spend a little time learning the system menus, but nothing felt broken or confusing.

The dual speakers are fine for casual play, and I appreciate having a 3.5mm headphone jack. For late-night gaming, headphones make the experience much better.

For arcade, puzzle, beat 'em up, and sports titles, this device feels smooth and quick. The RK3562 chip is a good fit for the classic systems I actually play.

I was glad it has built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. I do not need wireless every day, but it is nice for update-related tasks and community setup guides.

The RG52 MINI is excellent for classic 2D and lighter 3D games, but I would not buy it expecting every demanding 3D title to run perfectly. For the price, that tradeoff is fair.
